The irony here is that the actual problem America has In immigration is having let those who Quiet Voice represents into the country. I'd love to know how many generations of the Quiet Voice clan lived in the U.S. Few, I imagine. Maybe none.
Most were Italians, Irish, African Americans and a few Slavs. Q.V. probably migrated from the Palestinian territory or maybe Lebanon and these migrants tend to be growing in Michigan. People such as Quiet Voice aren't easily assimilated into Western society.
Of course, the African Americans have far more of a right to be called "Americans", second to the native American Indians.
