Yet, despite our reasoned explanations, Quiet Voice "logic" insisted lunar exploration was impossible. We now have had two successful landings, India and Japan.

You misunderstood. Richard didn't scoff at NASA - he scoffed at your posts that denied we ever landed on the moon. You stated back then it was impossible to escape the earth's atmosphere. So, we scoffed. Richard the most, I think.
