That's actually incorrect. As always the apparent fact that article is yet another example of substandard American academia.
The founders of the communist ideology were mostly German but, if we want to be purists, we can go as far back as Sparta and Lycurgus. They were Greeks. Sparta was mostly a communist state.
The Soviet Union had some Jewish intellectuals such as Trotsky and, for that matter, Lenin was half Jewish and Armenian. Stalin, though, was Georgian.
This is what I mean, though, by what I class as rubbish American academia. They really show how shallow their understanding is to claim communism was a Jewish plot to create a New World Order and can be shown to be grossly mistaken and clueless on history. The reason I say that is so many of the pioneering communists were either German, Russian, Ukrainian or of mixed race. Plus, there were various branches of communism - Stalin's was pretty distorted.
To give one example about America's awful performance in history, try doing any search on Google (an American search engine) for "witchcraft trials". All you will get is Salem. Americans were never taught that the said trials were far more widespread in Europe, even Lithuania and Estonia. Salem was a tiny percentage based on a very small population.

Example. Here's what I got first result for "witch trials" on Google:
"The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts..."
My point is I have serious misgivings over education in the USA. They teach an incredibly insular view of history. It's the same even in psychology. Americans tend to diagnose patients with ASD or Asperger's but the best seller books they churn out on the subject seems to be based on neuro diversity romanticism that lacks real clinical sources.
To be honest, American self- proclaimed experts get up my nose, as by now will be self-evident. They make random statements that carry impact on the basis of their "reputation" and what the masses find attractive to hear. They use the term "Doctor" but either the term is fake or they actually have an unrelated qualification.
If people will read a lot of real sources from the credible sources we have on history, they would soon begin to see how shallow these so-called experts are.
