We don't have an ignore or "snooze" option here but I think it's time we just ignored Quiet Voice.
On Facebook, you can just put an annoying poster on snooze. It's a good option.
Of course, other posters are free to choose to engage in conversation with Quiet Voice but saints these days are in short supply. I'm not one of them.

I lived and studied in Russia during the Yeltsin era. I can only assume Q.V. likewise assume even the Russians can't "connect the dots" concerning their own history.

There aren't any. Theforsaken will probably return on occasion, but I think we've heard the last of Tokeless. Other people have signed up (see members list) then seen what a dodo this forum is and not bothered to introduce themselves.

She's wasted here, that's for sure.

It's a very bad time for education. Psychology was a top profession in the 1970s. Of course, the dreaded Quiet Voice doesn't help matters - it's just the same rant played out every time she's been on some awful website.
I was thinking today how long it took me to realise I have some serious psychological issues, anger, distrust, being anti-social. Yet, I faced up to them. It was hard to accept so many pathological baggage. Q.V. is nowhere near that stage yet but it is necessary to admit to serious defects. You then come down off your cloud and try to make the best of what there is.

My issues are different. It's more socially based and not connecting with people or having the same emotional capacity. It's social not a rational deviation. Whereas Q.V. and others struggle over logical capacity, mine is understanding emotion. So the cat feels at home with me.

Distrust can save your life!
Being anti-social protects your time. I don't suffer fools gladly, either.

I think it is "amazing" that so many page views are happening, like between yesterday and today, there were well over two-thousand page views to this thread.

I somehow learned hypnosis. I use it when I want to recover memories from many years ago. Yesterday, I used hypnosis on myself to go back to 1997 and recover information, consciously forgotten. It worked. Once on the internet I typed in the details and that was that. Memory restored. I hypnotised a friend regularly. She suffered insomnia so she'd ask me to send her to sleep. It took just a few seconds. Hypnosis works but can easily be abused when the hypnotist implants memories that were never there, by leading on and suggestion. Some hypnotists know how to do it properly. Some good psychologists can use it. Not sure how many use it on themselves but I can often recover all sorts of memories.
