Yes, and I was warned about that last week. Even if a site is dead, trolls can post propaganda with an agenda, use a bogus name and try and influence users. So, in your own case I do remain suspicious. The very angry political posts appeared more or less at the time of conflict in the Middle East. These posts appear to me to have some connection to Islamic fundamentalism but you hit the nail on the head about views. Dead as the site may be, any site can be trolled for propaganda and extremism.
I'd advise Candid to read up on that.
I may be wrong but tend to be suspicious. Funny too how you are checking your audience stats. Personally I doubt it will have any impact as people hold their own views.

Yes, you are wrong about me. You've been told more than once that you are wrong about me, and yet you still persist.
Every post that I made came from a particular and very plausible and realistic point of view (that being from the view of the White genocide happening worldwide), but you are stuck on making things up about me, with nothing more to go on except whatever idea that you have about "timing".
You are also stuck, along with Candid, in not paying attention to the very real "stuff" happening, even though my many, many, many times of pointing it out happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.
I'm not that clued up on the internet troll theme. What nobody has explained yet is why lots of extremist political views appeared on the forum in a sudden wave. On Uncommon there were heated debates on vaccines or conspiracies but the political racial material came when the war kicked in. Lots of it and very extreme. We all noticed.
Add to that right-wing extremists are often fundamantalist Christians and rant about all races. Only Islamic fundamentalists only target Jews and quite fanatically at that. That's why I find it all very odd. Also the thing about "whites". Many Jewish people are white, far more so than you find in Iraq or Iran. Roman Polanski seems white enough to me. So, why all the hype about whites being reduced to a minority with no mention of commonwealth or other countries? It suggests troll-style propaganda. That's just my particular take on it but it's a pity Tokeless or Richard aren't here to air their opinion.
Very suspicious was the reference to "views" made earlier. Online trolls can use pretty dead sites but still get lots of views and trolling is about influencing opinion. They accused Russian trolls of stirring up protests over here, while Trump states Iran is trolling propaganda on American campuses. If someone expresses an opinion that's normal. If someone fanatically pushes an agenda, it can be troll related. Now governments want to restrict the I.T. companies over propaganda and so on.
This last use is a weird story. There was a pop song I recall was on my cassette tape which I recall listening to in Spain in the late 1990s. I recalled the song but no idea what it was called. For ages I'd visited top of the pops videos or looked at lists. Happy Mondays, Petshop Boys, Scritti Politti and others. My memory was of checking into El Hostal Remigio and I had this cassette tape. I think The Spice Girls were on it too. I didn't know if it was a 90s hit or 1980s. Finally, I tried hypnosis. That allowed me to drift back and hear the song but this time I could hear the lyrics! After that, I later typed the lyrics into Google and an unknown band came up on YouTube. I clicked on that and presto! Finally I have the mystery song.
Why do I do it? It's odd but I have a passion for exploring past memories. Old TV ads, programs and so on.
One I found was Thriller. This was a Friday night TV horror series shown in the 1970s on Friday nights. Well, the intro music bothered me so I tried to find the series on YouTube. That was easy actually. Many TV ads I recall too, Milk Tray, Brut aftershave, Hi Karate, Nuts whole hazlenuts and so on.
I currently can't download music and that's a problem. I always used Russian sites but now there seem to be viruses. If I download, my phone goes bananas. I can play the track but my phone crawls on the internet, crashes or turns into Indonesian. I'm not sure if the block is from the Russian net or if the Russian net is being blocked. Or my phone may not be modern enough to handle updated downloads. All I know is the downloads crippled my phone till I did a factory reset from zero.
