Crazy and unprecedented times are coming.

Post by theforsaken »

I'm listening to stuff on the internet and it's quite unnerving.

So technology has come a long way with AI and shit in just the last few years, it's evolving faster, and more, than ever before, and it'sgoing to get alot better, I believe the experts when they say stuff like the singularity is on track to happen in 2045. As alarming as that is, it's very possible. The guy I just listened to also thinks we will basically be good enough with medicine and technology to hault the progression of our longevity by 2029, that's 5 years away..
So in 21 years AI will basically be a God and we will be able to link our brains to it and be infinitely smarter and never die. I dunno if I like that, I think I'd rather stay my stupid natural self, keep my identity and humanity, and eventually die like we're supposed to.

20 years ago we didn't even have smart phones man, and 20 years from now we will be living in a different world. It's going to be crazy to watch, but I also don't really want to be involved.

I agree with all that. I suppose anyone's last days and hours are bound to be unpleasant, but when my time's up I'll get through it somehow.

He said once we "merge" with the AI technology, our intelligence will be multiplied a million fold. That is wild shit, like will that give us superpowers? Will you be able to fly and shit just by thinking about it? Will you be able to teleport or time travel? Will you be able to just manifest things into existence by thinking about it? Like gold? Will I be able to use telekinesis and throw slow drivers off the road when they're in front of me with my mind? Lol. It is interesting but it's scary as well, like who controls this once it's out there in everyone?
The AI stuff itself is wild as well, once that thing gets good enough to upgrade itself infinitely, it's over. And that will happen soon as well.

I reckon AI is going to make life worse, a LOT worse, for those of us who aren't controlling it.
Superpowers no, not for the likes of us.

Yeah, only time will tell I guess which way it goes, good or bad, but one thing I know for sure is shit is gonna get real weird real fast, over the next 10 years. 10 years from now will be like the same sort of leap as like the 50s to 2000.

Did you know that you can receive BLE (bluetooth low energy) signals on your cell phone, if you set it up to read those signals, that are being emitted from those who took the jab?

MAC address, media access control address. Android can be set up through Settings; Apple get a BT scanner app.

There could be big changes. For ages I've had suspicions over the scope of America's decline. It used to be a great country because with the cold war, presidents invested in technology education and science. Maybe the end of the cold war was what screwed the USA since they lost self restraint and set about some very misguided foreign policy ventures. Worst screw up was the Iraq war. That was a secular country and quite stable till they somehow turned it into another Islamic state, aiding Iran in the process. Add to that America's obsession to spread multiculturalism to Europe. France is now nothing at all like a liberal western democracy and even Sweden imported all the problems and instability that comes with Middle Eastern migrants - driven to the west by America's foreign policy.
The near future will soon clarify how the land will lie. If Putin over time wins in Ukraine, Europe will be more vulnerable by far. The war never would have happened if Germany hadn't been encouraged to absorb Ukraine into the E.U. What matters now is whether or not Putin wins.
Depressing at it may sound America has burnt its own bridges. We now have an increadingly islamisised Europe that's as anti semitic as internally divided along tribal lines. The UK in parts resembles downtown Baghdad more than a modern country.

In a street nearby, I wasn't sure what message a statue of the virgin Mary in someone's garden portrayed. The old church next door has been converted to a mosque. The statue must have been salvaged by the house owner. I wasn't sure if it was just for an ornament or a statement of defiance. You walk the streets and the new thing is dozens of barber shops that cater to immigrants from various Middle Eastern countries. The sane question is how does that benefit the rest of us, however few they may be. Unashamedly, I tend to blame America. The whole multicultural initiative initiated from there under the misguided view it would create stable societies. What's sad is those vets who fought in WW2 seem to have died in vain. We are now not that far off a backward, non democratic mediaeval society.

I just heard Trump state America's apparent defeat in Afghanistan provoked Putin's attack on Ukraine and the other attack on Israel. I have to agree. Putin's the type of person who exploits signs of weakness so he felt the opportunity was there to return Russia to greatness. As to Hamas, they saw western countries as already defeated so boldly attacked Israel. I think it goes even deeper than Trump's observation however. America has lost a lot of wars. The idea to turn Iraq into.a democracy was doomed from the beginning. The war on terror was a farce. Any fanatic from the Middle East can cross borders and even be welcomed. And Trump warns about WW3 as Russia faces direct attack. He's right about that.

As to the UK what a bloody mess! It hit home to me when I saw crowds cheering elected muslims MPs, only because they were muslims, not based on ability. Imagine China electing an Irish man to office just because he's Irish. Despite the promises immigration would create wealth and cohesion, the pound remains weak. Homeless people abound. You see old films that.show cities here in the 1960s and it's clear there was prosperity. Now cities like Manchester are poor and people walk around in black sacks, with just a slit to.peep through.
