Re: Old Films I watched Years Ago
Actually, I think the old three channel T.V. and radio was far healthier. T.V. quality was far higher and people went out more. Horror movies were on usually Friday night at 23.00 p.m.

Re: Old Films I watched Years Ago
Probably we were healthier and more active without internet. . And less knowledgeable of the world. The internet is a fountain of information. But not for blokes like David. I only use it to access published texts and download music. I no longer tend to use forums and this one only has 4 people pos...

Re: Old Films I watched Years Ago
Another classic was The Wicker Man, filmed in Scotland. A very low budget film with a few locals as stand-in actors. Britt Eckland and Edward Woodward starred in it. I think you could tell it was on a low budget. Became a classic, though. Paul Giovani did the music.

Re: Old Films I watched Years Ago
The girl actually has a crazy sister she doesn't know exists and the sister is so dangerous she's locked up in a barn room. Reminds me of Jane Eyre, in which Jane accepts Mr Rochester's proposal, only to find he has a mad wife locked in the attic. I've had this funny phase lately of "chasing m...

Old Films I watched Years Ago
Russian internet is still pretty good for finding films that Youtube can't show, although sometimes you can find the odd full movie on Youtube. This is a film I just tracked on Russian video, which is only on a trailer feature on Youtube. Not sure if anyone has seen it but it starred Oliver Reed. It...

Re: The Elliot Rodger Videos (your views)
When I first saw the videos I found them to be hilarious, though in reality none of it was a laughing matter. A woman at the time told me someone with Asperger's had gone on a rampage and the videos were on YouTube. What somehow tickled me was the sheer extent of Elliot's narcissism. "How dare ...

Re: The Elliot Rodger Videos (your views)
He had more going on than aspergers and being bullied, I think there's also some sociopathy and extreme narcissism mixed in there as well. But because of the aspergers he comes across as a fuckin cringe lord rather than being charismatic like most other narcissists are. I've seen bits and pieces of...

Re: The Elliot Rodger Videos (your views)
Asperger noted very high percentages of those with the syndrome neither marry or have girlfriends. This used to bother me a lot in my 20s and 30s given no female showed any interest and I was clueless as to why (still undiagnosed). It's hard to explain to anyone neurotypical but with Asperger's it's...

Re: The Elliot Rodger Videos (your views)
My psychology observations. He has weak facial mimicry and expression. Very dominantly he has narcissistic personality disorder and, put simply, a huge ego. I think a lot of the damage was caused by pushing him through mainstream schools where he was badly bullied. What really enraged Elliot was the...
